Welcome to Iron Cupcake Madison WI
Challenge #8: Chocolate!
Sunday, March 25, 2012
3:30-5:00 p.m.
East Side Club, 3735 Monona Drive
$10 at the door or in advance at Brown Paper Tickets
The firstl challenge of 2012 is on! Bakers will be putting forth their best efforts using CHOCOLATE (and maybe a wee dollop of white chocolate?) to woo us into voting for them! We will use the profits to benefit the Wisconsin Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Iron Cupcake Madison hosts regular events to promote creative baking and eating, and in general: good times fueled by sugar and whatever beverage you prefer. We choose an ingredient or a theme, and let our bakers give it their best shot! Anyone can bake, and everyone can vote!!
Since our first challenge in October of 2010, we've raised over $4000 for Madison area non-profits, including REAP, Second Harvest, Literacy Network, Porchlight, and the Wisconsin Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. We hope to hit the $10,000 mark by the end of this year!
Each ticket will allow you to taste 10 mini cupcakes, and vote your favorite. There will be winners in several categories, and door prizes galore! This event may have as many as 22 cupcakes, so come with a friend, so you can taste them all!!! (We will be selling additional tasting tickets; if you won't rest until you've had them all!)
Kid-friendly (families are welcome to share tickets)
Cash bar! (Coffee and milk, too).
Remember to tip your bartenders- let them know that cupcakers are good eggs
If you plan on buying your ticket at the door please note: CASH ONLY and EXACT CHANGE APPRECIATED.
